JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tasks, ensuring quality control, and supporting data collection and analysis. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of laboratory operations and contributing to impactful research outcomes.

SKILLS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Certification of Phlebotomy Training.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficient in using laboratory software and equipment.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: $20.00-$34.66 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Conduct phlebotomy on patients as required.
  • Prepare and process specimens for the clinical trials.
  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory procedures according to established clinical trial protocols.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Record and document specimens, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagents from the clinical trial supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and organized laboratory records as per the GCP good documentation practice.
  • Collaborate with other lab staff and departments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve laboratory processes.
