JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations, conducting experiments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and an understanding of regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proven experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures including data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of scientific research principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in math skills necessary for accurate data analysis.

  • Assist in research and development projects, contributing to scientific research efforts.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to laboratory procedures.
  • Stay informed about FDA regulations and ensure all practices align with these standards.
  • Apply knowledge of animal physiology, microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and veterinary terminology as needed.
