Description
Label Printers are responsible for producing labels to support production and keeping track of label inventories and supplies. They also communicate unsafe or unusual problems with regards to equipment and report damaged or unusual conditions of materials and ingredients. Other duties include verifying label accuracy through the Supervisors. This department packages chocolates into trays and bags/tubs, frequently off a conveyor line. * Follow written instructions and documents label production. * Complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner. * Track label inventory and printing supplies. * Verify label accuracy through the Supervisor or Product Development. * Assure that printed labels are properly marked to be used by the correct line and product. * Communicate to the Supervisor or Crew Leader regarding equipment or label concerns or problems. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and contribute to a team environment. * Good written and verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with all levels of company personnel. * Must have ability to read and interpret expiration dates. * Must have ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Must be self-motivated with ability to work independently * SAP and PC literate is a plus. * Must have a safety and quality conscious work history. * Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently. Other physical activities include bending, lifting, twisting, walking, repetitive wrist movement, standing for full 10-hour shifts. * This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
