JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Labor & Employment Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to family law, immigration law, and workers’ compensation law. This role requires exceptional research and writing skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience in labor and employment law preferred; familiarity with additional areas such as patent law or securities law is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail for legal drafting tasks.
  • Previous legal administrative experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and litigation efforts.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Assist clients with estate planning, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury claims, and environmental law matters.
  • Represent clients in negotiations related to employment disputes and other legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategies and case management.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations, including tribal law & regulations.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to enhance office efficiency.
