What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with key labor laws, including Davis-Bacon Act, California Labor Code, FLSA, and more
  • Review certified payroll reports and labor compliance documents from contractors and subcontractors
  • Investigate labor law violations and wage restitution claims, resolving compliance issues
  • Keep accurate records and prepare reports for regulatory bodies and internal use
  • Support project management teams by integrating compliance requirements into contracts and workflows
  • Stay informed on changes in labor laws and advise management on new requirements
  • Respond to government agency audits and inquiries concerning labor compliance
  • Administer field employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all labor regulations

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5 years’ experience in labor compliance, contract compliance, HR, or related regulatory role
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state labor laws, prevailing wage, and equal employment opportunity standards
  • Skilled in reviewing payroll reports and employment documents for accuracy
  • Sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently while protecting sensitive information
  • Experience with HUD and Section 3 projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with CPR reporting systems and upload modules (e.g., LCPTracker, DIR, OCPS, Caltrans CTF, eComply, LAUSD payroll submission, PRISM) is a bonus
