Job Details Job Location: Portland Office - Portland, OR 97205 Education Level: JD We are looking for a mid-level associate to join our Labor and Employment Practice Group in Portland, Oregon or Seattle, Washington. The candidate must be currently licensed to practice law in Oregon and preferably Washington (or be willing to waive into Washington). The ideal candidate has 3+ years of solid experience litigating, including employment cases. In addition, we’d like a candidate with some employment advice experience, such as drafting handbooks and employment-related agreements, but this experience is not required. Candidates must have strong writing and time management skills. Buchalter employment attorneys partner closely with clients to provide broad, protective counsel that minimizes risk exposure. Our critical risk-management solutions allow clients to focus on managing their businesses while we manage the details of their employment problems. We work with business management to ensure workplace compliance and an immediate response when conflict arises. We provide advice and counsel to business and defend employers from lawsuits. Our clients vary from closely-held companies to major financial institutions, banks, restaurant chains, manufacturers and retailers, with offices and locations nationwide. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range will depend on candidate’s years of practice and relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this position is eligible for annual performance bonuses based on productivity.
