Role purpose Aesop are seeking an experienced Laboratory Administrator Coordinator in a full-time role operating from our Collingwood office. Reporting to the Director of R&D, you’ll be responsible for assisting the broader R&D team with day-to-day activities to ensure seamless processing of samples and coordination of materials for the laboratory. You’re strong organisational skills and attention to detail will see you excelling in sample preparation, documentation, and routine laboratory tasks. Role responsibilities include, but not limited to – Technical Administration Pack and dispatch samples for external testing and/or registration Coordinate dispatch of samples and maintain tracker log and ensure all results are assessed, recorded and reported, in accordance with company standards. Lodge invoices as required for all R&D expenses and match them with the planned testing or order. Order and maintain raw material stock in collaboration with the team, including forecasting of pilot needs. Plan, dispatch and track all the testing sample going in external independent laboratory. Laboratory Administration and Maintenance Assist with administration and functional day to day aspects of the laboratory, including: Ensure laboratory has sufficient current and prospective raw materials, essential oils, packaging and consumables on-hand. Maintain raw material warehouse, including conducting bi-annual stocktake of goods. Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment is conducted. Ensure Laboratory cleanliness is maintained, and additional external cleaning is arranged when appropriate. This is a full time position operating with a requirement to be in the Collingwood office full time.
