Description

Under direction from the Operations Manager and Laboratory Supervisor the holder of this position is responsible primarily providing administrator support for other roles currently in place at the facility.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook with emphasis on Excel;
  • Minimum 60 WPM typing speed;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and foster relationship growth in a professional setting;
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written English;
  • Ability to independently resolve problems within one’s scope of authority and understanding of when to escalate to senior personnel;
  • Solid personal integrity and dedication;
  • Ability to work without supervision;
  • Willing to work overtime, alternate shifts and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of day-to-day operations, as well as knowledge of internal processes;
  • Assist with filing and organizing documents
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Emphasize the entry, accuracy, maintenance and management of the online database;
  • Working closely with Dispatch, Laboratory and Operations
  • Completing document/waste receiving process in OMS, including the attachment of scanned receiving documents and preparation of the files for transfer to billing review
  • Data entry as it pertains to completed laboratory analytical data referring to the associated manifest, bill of lading and work order information in a timely manner;
  • Other tasks as assigned.
