Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will be result oriented to produce high quality defensible analytical data, safely and on time by following applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Perform analyses and complex sample preparation proficiently. Gain full knowledge with respect to performing analytical procedures and related quality control techniques.
Primary responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):
- Receive samples, perform sample preparation and laboratory analysis according to approved Standard Operating Procedures and in concert with safety regulations; includes performing all relevant Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities required by the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Deliver high quality analytical data accurately and on time
- Utilize a wide variety of instruments such as ICP, GC, TOC, sulphur, nitrogen, and extraction experiments, etc.
- Efficiently handle glassware equipment for extractions, refluxes and preparation
- Troubleshoot and maintain analytical equipment
- Ensure adherence to Bureau Veritas’s policies, certifications and accreditations
- Actively participate in Bureau Veritas’s Health and Safety Program (meetings, near miss and incident reporting, hazard assessment)
- Build and maintain good working relationship with our client
