JOB SUMMARY

As a Laboratory Analyst for our Senneville site, you will perform sample analysis work in a laboratory environment, perform data analysis to determine if results meet expectations and record data in accordance with company policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements. We are currently hiring for the Bioanalysis, Analytical Chemistry, Immunotoxicology, Molecular Biology and the Genetic Toxicology teams.

In the Bioanalysis analyst role, responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct technical assays using various extraction techniques (protein precipitate extraction, solid phase extraction) and LC-MS/MS to quantify molecules of interest, , in compliance with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and FDA regulations
  • Handle and analyze biological samples
  • Validate the analysis of samples, in a multidisciplinary laboratory using a variety of extraction techniques, manual assays, automated equipment and analytical instruments
  • Work closely with the Scientific team.

In the Molecular Biology analyst role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform a variety of DNA and RNA purification assays as well as qPCR and RT-qPCR assays on platforms such as Quantstudio, QXone (ddPCR), Maxwell, Quantigen, and Nanostring;
  • Perform method development, validation, and sample analysis testing;
  • Document and process analytical data according to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP);
  • Work in collaboration with scientific staff to optimize methods.

In the Immunotoxicology analyst role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform sample analysis work using various assays and techniques such as ELISA, ECL, Cell Culture, PBMC extraction, Luminex, ELISPOT, and Flow Cytometry;
  • Perform data analysis to determine if results are within expectations; all in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

In the Genetic Toxicology analyst role, primary responsibilities include:
Perform the following techniques:o Bacterial Mutation Test (BMT)o Chromosome Aberration Test (CAT)o InVitro Micronucleus (IVM)o Mammalian Cell Mutation Test (MCM) o Micronucleus Test (MNT), Comet Assayo Cytotoxicity Test and Mode of Action Assay (MOA) Analysis of bacterial or cell cultures; manipulation of animal organs

Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION

  • Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Salary: 23,50$/hrs;
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, day schedule.
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
