SUMMARY

The Laboratory Analyst will operate from our Analytical Chemistry Laboratory and is responsible for performing a broad range of laboratory activities related to the analysis of geological materials, fluids, and other samples. This role requires adaptability to work across multiple departments when required, including, fluid analysis, core analysis, rock properties and wellsite services. The individual will follow approved procedures, ensuring high-quality data collection, documentation, and compliance with company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to a minimum HNC or equivalent in a science subject, or relevant experience.
  • Degree in a chemistry based subject preferred.

Responsibilities
  • To be competent to perform all routine analytical tasks and procedures as deemed appropriate by the Company.
  • To perform tests according to documented procedures or work instructions.
  • To be fully aware of time allocated for each test and perform within allocated time schedule.
  • To perform all tasks in accordance with approved QA procedures.
  • To revert to Senior staff before commencing work if instructions are unclear.
  • To respect and protect Company and client confidentiality at all times.
  • To ensure that lab forms, work sheets, records, administrative documents are correctly completed.
  • Perform other duties as required by Company.
  • To report all Non-Conformances and problems to your supervisor on a Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Report.
