The Role We are looking for a Laboratory Analyst experienced in Microbiology testing to join our Microbiology team based in our Dunsandel site. Reporting to the Microbiology Team Leader your responsibilities will include … Day to day routine of Microbiology testing working to a high quality standard Reporting of results to internal and external customers. Ensure that all results are communicated efficiently and effectively, using the identified process. Recording results and presentation through the Microsoft Suite of programmes. Follow laboratory quality systems and notify the Microbiology Supervisor if there are any actions that need to be taken. This role will suit a self-driven person, with the ability to work under their own direction while simultaneously following procedures accurately. Skills and Experience To be considered for this role will require … A Tertiary Qualification in Microbiology or equivalent Experience working in a laboratory environment under ISO 17025 Experience with a variety of Microbiology Laboratory Testing procedures Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous experience in the dairy industry and microbiology experience is highly regarded in this role. Responsibilities
