QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with WHMIS and handling of chemical agents.
  • Current WHIMIS, Lab Safety and Bio-safety mandatory upon hire.
  • Animal Ethics CCAC Part 1 mandatory upon hire.
  • Animal Handling Part 2 optional upon hire.
  • Ability to monitor equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Knowledge on the safe handling of biohazards.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of general office equipment and computers including MS Office and/or Google Applications
  • CALAS ARLAT is an asset.
