Laboratory Assistant - Clinical Lab at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts. Performs some or all of the following duties in one or more laboratory sections: Coordinates and participates in specimen collections, prepares specimens for testing, dispatches specimens to section or referral laboratories, and receives, processes, and disseminates requests, specimens, reports, and test results as indicated. Required Qualifications: * Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. * upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License * upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License Preferred Qualifications: * 6 months of Phlebotomy experience. * 1 year of Office work experience. * 1 year of Laboratory experience. * 6 months of Acute care hospital experience.
