About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Casual Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic Diagnostic Services Testing team in Edmonton.

The Testing team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by performing routine and complex laboratory testing on patient samples. These services help provide critical diagnostic information that supports patient care. In this role, you will contribute to laboratory operations that support timely and reliable diagnostic testing for patients.

- Drawing on your knowledge and experience in laboratory functions, you will receive, accession, process, and prepare patient samples for testing.
