Position Summary: The position is responsible for supporting laboratory operations. Working closely with laboratory technologists and other laboratory personnel to collect and prepare specimens, perform basic lab tests, and manage data entry and documentation. Essential Functions: * Collect, prepare & Labeling of samples for testing * Perform basic laboratory tests under the supervision of technologists * Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment * Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment * Assist with quality control and assurance procedures * Communicate test results to relevant healthcare professionals * Attention to detail and accuracy of specimen labeling * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Documentation and order entry into hospital Laboratory System (LIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) * Ability to be organized & multi-task * Communication and interpersonal skills The responsibilities listed above are not all-inclusive; other activities may be required in support of the hospital’s goals and objectives. Responsibilities
