The Laboratory Assistant will support the Building & Construction Business by performing sample processing and login, supply ordering, billing, customer service, as well as a full range of administrative duties. Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm Salary & Benefits Information Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related duties. What you’ll do: * Perform sample processing and login utilizing a LIMS * Receive calls from clients and provide customer service and/or routing to the appropriate technical staff * Greet and assist clients with sample submissions onsite * Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office Software. * Perform various general office duties including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc. * Assisting with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice payments * May assist with developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/ or work instructions Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED * 2 years+ experience in an administrative role * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities * Ability to analyze and solve problems * Ability to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frame * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to strictly follow SOPs Preferred Requirements & Qualifications: * Experience with a LIMS * Experience with sample processing * 1+ years of laboratory experience * Bachelor's Degree * Experience and familiarity working with Microsoft Office suite Intertek: Total Quality. Responsibilities

The Laboratory Assistant will perform sample processing and login using LIMS while providing administrative support including billing and customer service. They will also assist with office duties and maintain local operating procedures to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
