Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Administrative Director of Laboratory Services, the Lab Assistant II performs a wide variety of duties in the lab including, but not limited to, specimen collection, specimen processing, data entry, new employee orientation and training, special projects, and general duties. Diploma or GED California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire. Or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire. 3 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant.
