Currently our QA Department are seeking a Laboratory Computerised Systems Officer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both standalone and enterprise computerised systems within the Quality Laboratories.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Execute computerised system activities (validation, training, security)
  • Support lifecycle management of standalone equipment and enterprise systems
  • Provide and execute the validation requirements for new equipment/systems and upgrades to existing equipment/systems
  • Assessment and support of new equipment/system purchases and installations
  • Prepare/review validation documentation
  • Responsible for functional data support of systems, both standalone and enterprise
  • Support and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the Quality department and the wider business
  • Ensure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standards
  • Provide insight and apply creativity to challenging situations
  • Provide, build and maintain consistent, reliable and accurate customer service

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, IT or similar;
  • Previous experience in a similar role with computerised systems validation is highly desirable;
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and other regulatory standards desired;
  • Ability to prepare and execute documentation for the validation of computerised systems and applications;
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport with a range of internal stakeholders
  • Can understand technical documents;
