Job Title: Director, Laboratory Operations Location: Florida Role Summary Lead high-volume clinical laboratory operations with a strong focus on Microbiology. Responsible for daily lab operations, regulatory compliance, quality programs, budgeting, and people leadership across one or more lab sites. Key Responsibilities Oversee lab operations and ensure CAP, federal, and state compliance Manage budgets, productivity, and operational performance Lead, mentor, and develop lab leadership teams Drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in medical technology or related science 10+ years Microbiology experience 8+ years lab management in high-volume environments Medical Technologist certification (ASCP/AMT/AAB or equivalent) Florida Supervisor License (or ability to obtain) Nice to Have Master’s degree (MBA or related field) Experience with lab expansions or system implementations Benefits Comprehensive benefits, performance bonus, leadership development, and relocation support.
