Welcome to Bosch. Job Description The Laboratory Engineer supports the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the hydraulics laboratory. Acting as a key technical partner to the Lab Manager, this role leads and executes lab-based projects, enhances testing capabilities, and ensures the reliability and performance of lab equipment and systems. The position collaborates with engineering teams to support product development and testing initiatives while advancing the lab’s technical infrastructure and capabilities. Support and lead execution of lab projects and initiatives, including test development, setup, and troubleshooting Design, improve, and implement lab test methods, equipment, and technology to enhance capability and efficiency Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of lab equipment, hydraulic systems, and instrumentation Collaborate with product engineering teams to support testing needs, prototype validation, and technical investigations Serve as a technical resource within the lab, guiding lab technicians and coordinating day-to-day technical activities Document test procedures, results, and system configurations; contribute to standardization and best practices Support lab planning and prioritization in coordination with the Lab Manager Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field 5-7 years experience in manufacturing or hydraulic laboratories Strong knowledge of off-highway hydraulic components (e.g., cartridge valves, manifolds, hydraulic circuits) Experience working in a laboratory or test environment supporting engineering or product development Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical/control systems Experience setting up and executing tests, including instrumentation and data collection Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a hands-on environment Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams Experience improving or designing lab/test systems and infrastructure Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
