Responsibilities Job Overview: Prepares test samples of materials used in production, components, etc. and conducts physical and/or rheological tests to ensure conformity to established specifications. Normally reports to Quality and Food Safety Supervisor. System administration of FSQ. Conduct routine laboratory tests Documented and managed quality and laboratory processes and information Sample and tested raw materials, packaging and finished products Assist in preparations for internal and external audits and closing findings timeously Resolving customer complaints Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Maintain strict health and safety environment standard and ensure good housekeeping Implement HACCP requirement Conduct microbiological sampling and result interpretation Qualifications Three-year qualification or equivalent in Food Technology/Biotechnology or similar Knowledge in quality and food safety Understanding GLP (Good Laboratory Practises) Understand ISO 17025 “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
