Qualifications:
The position has a more open requirement for education where experience within relevant field can be compensated for education, thus we invite both candidates that have BSc and or MSc degree to apply.
All candidates are expected to have good English skills – both spoken and written - and knowledge about the use of MS office 365 & Teams/SharePoint is an advantage. (Interviews will be held in English)

  • Chemical or Chemical & Material Engineering Bachelor or Master degree (In organic, polymer or material chemistry and preferably prior experience in Powder coatings).
  • Minimum 3 years’ or more relevant experience (Powder laboratory experience is preferred), preferably longer
  • Reside in or can settle in Ústi nad Labem region.

Responsibilities

The tasks for this position is to lead the team of engineers developing new products , improve much better alignment to big scaled production for whole process. We are looking for a candidate with chemical or chemical engineering degree in organic, polymer or material chemistry and preferably prior experience in Powder coatings.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out development, technology and maintenance tasks through planning, formulating, testing and evaluating of recipes and raw materials to ensure that projects are effectuated within planned time and cost frames, and in accordance with Jotun’s business strategy
  • Participate actively in the working out of tasks, coach colleagues as well as contributing professionally within own area both internally and externally to increase the quality of the local laboratory work and competence in the professional environment.
  • Have recipe responsibility for products through maintenance and following up towards production, ensuring that the quality of the product satisfy customers’ needs and production efficiency.
  • Participate on raw materials selection together with Purchasing for optimal conditions for use and logistics.
