Sentara Albemarle Regional Medical Center is hiring a experienced Laboratory Manager to work full time.
Overview
The Laboratory Manager assumes responsibility and accountability for laboratory operations within a Sentara facility. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations. Analyzes patient data and suggests physician protocol for confirming patient diagnosis; acts as a consultant to pathologists, physicians, and other team members; identifies needs and implements training to ensure laboratory staff competency.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science

Certification/Licensure

• ASCP or AMT certification

Experience

• Laboratory (required)
• 3 years Laboratory Leadership (required)
