What You’ll Do Lead daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; Supervise, train, and develop laboratory staff to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and technical excellence; Oversee QA/QC programs and data review to ensure analytical integrity and adherence to quality standards; Manage personnel, equipment, and resources to optimize productivity and achieve operational goals; Maintain compliance with OSHA, environmental, and industry regulations; Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Project Management to ensure accurate and timely results; Develop and maintain SOPs and quality procedures in alignment with company and regulatory requirements; Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of corrective actions; Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance performance; Monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and alignment with business objectives; Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the laboratory; Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field required; Minimum of five (5) years of laboratory experience, including at least two (2) years in a management or supervisory role; Experience managing analytical or testing laboratory operations in environmental, energy, or related industries; Skilled in leading and developing teams and driving process and performance improvements; Knowledge of QA/QC programs, audits, and regulatory standards; Proficient in LIMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Familiarity with EPA, ASTM, API, and Standard Methods; Safety and environmental compliance certifications preferred.
