The Laboratory Manager is responsible for providing Technical and Administrative support to ongoing Technical Services Operations at Thatcher Company of California. Desired Qualifications/Skills: Must be able to provide proof of employment eligibility. BS/MS in Chemistry or related field or relevant experience. Specialization in analytical chemistry preferred. Minimum of three years of laboratory experience. Management experience preferred but not required. Successful candidates will have an experience-based knowledge of laboratory operations, chemical principles, chemical manufacturing processes, and chemical plant operations. Broad knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Major Responsibilities: Technical Services Provide all testing, batch approval and product diagnostics support for TCFLD operations. General laboratory housekeeping Maintenance of laboratory consumable inventory Management of incoming samples Prepare and issue operations production paperwork as needed to support Production Planning. Serve as on-site liaison between CA and Thatcher Company of Utah R&D/Technical Services teams. Laboratory Clerical Support Data Entry (ERP, LIMS) Management of Technical Services and Production document archives. Create and issue customer-facing product collaterals (CoAs, CoCs, Labels, Product Specifications, etc.) as required by customers. QA/QC Support Serve as plant QC staff member for inspection and approvals of plant equipment and finished products as required by production paperwork. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
