Role Overview: You will ensure the cleanliness, sterilization, and upkeep of laboratory glassware, equipment, and common areas. You will perform weekly housekeeping in operations, restrooms, breakrooms and other common spaces. Your attention to detail and adherence to sanitation protocols play a vital role in maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent valued but not required
  • Experience in dishwashing, janitorial services or cleaning valued but not required
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills
  • Strong work ethic, emphasizing consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Strong ability to multitask in order to address different tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
    Expected Scheduling: 2nd Shift (Weekdays, 3pm-11:30pm) OR 3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7:30am)
Responsibilities
  • Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule (including breakrooms, restrooms, and other common areas)
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
  • Stock clean glassware in storage area
  • Autoclave laboratory glassware and biohazardous waste
  • Assist with any additional requests made by managerial leaders
