Biocatalysts is comprised of 4 companies, headquartered in Cardiff (Wales, UK) and co-located in Nieuwkuijk (Netherlands), Tampa (Florida, USA) and Ascheberg (Germany). Brought together as an integrated Bioproducts Division in October 2023, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRAIN Biotech Group, based in Zwingenberg (Germany). We serve customers globally in markets such as food, baking, beverage and pharma / life science, with a view to “become and stay the world’s leading speciality enzyme company and by the quality and dedication of our people, exceed our customers’ expectations”.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Perform and optimize enzymatic assays (spectrophotometric, fluorometric, colorimetric)
• Analyze enzyme kinetics and process data accurately
• Prepare buffers, standard curves, and reagents
• Conduct protein purification (affinity chromatography, ion exchange) and quality analyses (SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Bradford/BCA)
• Maintain detailed lab notes and data logs in accordance with GLP/GMP guidelines
• Operate advanced lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, plate readers, and semi-automated platforms
• Contribute to protocol optimization and share knowledge with colleagues and internationalpartners.
