Camfil Power Systems is a leading supplier of air filtration and acoustic treatment systems for gas turbines with its headquarters for the Americas in Laval. Your primary function would consist of the following activities:

  • Operate lab equipment in order to work with the R&D team to test new materials in the Laval Test & Learn Center
  • Manage the daily operation of the CamLab, including planning maintenance needs, providing technical support for equipment, reporting results to the R&D and Sales teams, and planning for future test runs
  • Travel to various sites around USA / Canada / Mexico to commission, decommission and troubleshoot the CamLab, Camfil’s mobile wind tunnel
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshooting of electrical automation systems used for filter testing, both in field units as well as at Laval Test & Learn Center
  • Produce lab reports in English;

Are you THE person we are looking for?

  • Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or related Automation degree
  • Knowledge of automation software such as FactoryTalk is an asset
  • Driver’s license, and able to travel to USA and Mexico for commissioning and troubleshooting of lab equipment
  • Must be able to work from the Laval office
  • Ability to troubleshoot the equipment
  • Strong English writing skills;
  • 2+ years in similar role
