JOB SUMMARY

As a Laboratory Supervisor for our Bioanalysis team at the Senneville location, you will be supervising a team in order to mobilize, empower and develop employees.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Guide, train, supervise, support and maintain a collaborative team in continuous improvement;
  • Communicate expectations in terms of quality, performance, goals and health and safety. Provide timely feedback to employees;
  • Ensure that all the necessary tools to enable employees to perform their daily tasks are available to them;
  • Ensure optimal performance, productivity and efficiency using key perfomance indicators;
  • Participate to the recruitment selection process;
  • Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the lnstitutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) rules.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role: Educational requirements, if applicable;

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • College or university diploma in Laboratory Science
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence through strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration;
  • Bilingual (French and English).
Responsibilities

ROLE SPECIFIC INFORMATION:

  • Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
  • Transportation: We offer a free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
  • Annual bonus based on performance;
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day schedule;
  • Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.
