WHAT’S THE ROLE
As a Laboratory Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind the daily operations of a high-performing, 24/7 Product Quality Laboratory at Shell Polymers Monaca. Reporting directly to the Product Quality Manager, you’ll lead a team of skilled lab technicians across two rotating shifts, ensuring that all testing is conducted with accuracy, precision, timeliness, and full alignment with Shell’s world-class safety and quality standards.
In this role, you’ll do more than manage schedules—you’ll mentor and develop your team, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and serve as a key liaison between lab operations and broader production goals. You’ll ensure compliance with ISO 9001, maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols, and drive data integrity through statistical quality control (SQC) monitoring and method reviews.
You’ll also play a pivotal role in implementing new technologies and supporting training programs that keep your team at the forefront of analytical excellence. Whether it’s troubleshooting complex lab issues, contributing to audits, or ensuring seamless shift handovers, your leadership will directly impact the quality and reliability of Shell’s polymer products.
