JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Technician to support daily lab operations and ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant research environment. This role is vital to the smooth functioning of laboratory activities and supports both scientific and operational teams.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in lab operations or lab management support.
• Familiarity with EHS protocols and lab safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

• Serve as the primary contact for daily lab operations, collaborating with scientists, facilities, and global operations.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and lab supply sourcing.
• Oversee proper sorting, labeling, and disposal of biohazardous and chemical waste.
• Manage onsite freezer storage, including alarm monitoring and response.
• Lead annual lab cleanouts, chemical inventory updates, and pipette calibration drives.
• Conduct quarterly internal EHS safety inspections and assist in resolving findings.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of lab personnel.
• Interface with vendors to manage lab consumables and supplies.
• Maintain tissue culture facilities, including stocking consumables and maintaining water baths and incubators.
