SUMMARY:

AGAT Laboratories is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician with experience in water quality analysis, microbiology and toxicology working out of our St John’s NL facility. This is a position with a permanent status. The Laboratory Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development activities.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Laboratory Operations & Instrument Maintenance
  • Perform basic laboratory procedures such as prepare samples, reagents, and calibrations.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Data Management & Quality Assurance
  • Compile, verify, and validate data records.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards and turnaround times are met, following all SOPs and Quality Control guidelines.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Report and document results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned
