This position is perfect for a lab tech wiz looking to make a difference! As a key member of our research team, you will be involved in conducting clinical trials and assisting with various research activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancing scientific knowledge and improving patient care while learning how the clinical research industry truly works.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Phlebotomy certification required and experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures required
  • Completion of a clinical research program or demonstration of clinical research interests an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science- or health-related field an asset
  • Training in ICH/GCP guidelines an asset
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient with MS Office software
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

  • 8 hour shift

Responsibilities
  • Biological sample collection, processing, shipping, and management
  • Performance of basic safety assessments (such as collecting vital signs, performing ECGs, etc.) and administration of participant questionnaires
  • Management of ongoing and pre-study source documents and electronic databases, including filing, photocopying, scanning, distributing information, entering data, etc.
  • Inventory organization, resupply, and maintenance
  • Management of complex patient, department, vendor, and Sponsor scheduling in an Electronic Medical System
  • Collection, compilation, and updating of basic statistical information and other data to generate and prepare reports and other documentation to support study management and success
