We have world-class manufacturing plants and storage facilities for bitumen, emulsions, and polymer-modified binders. Road Science has five IANZ-accredited civil engineering laboratories, and a number of project-specific mobile laboratories.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and technical-minded individual to enter the world of Laboratory Technicians. NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

As the successful candidate for this role, ideally you will possess:

• A Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence
• Testing experience, preferably in the civil engineering field, both in the laboratory and field-based is preferred but not essential
• Physically fit with ability to comfortably lift 20kgs
• A strong attention to detail with solid MS Excel & Word skills
• The ability to work as part of a team and with some leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills

You will also need some flexibility to work at night and during weekends when the work demands. You will be motivated to take on several different tasks for different people and enjoy solving problems and delivering outcomes to customers. The current team enjoy working together and having fun whilst getting the job done!
