This is a hands-on role where you’ll help deliver good work by collecting samples, carrying out compliant laboratory testing, and providing accurate analysis and reporting to the required standards. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities Complete laboratory testing and reporting for required materials in line with Fulton Hogan laboratory and IANZ requirements. Collect samples and support testing programmes to required specifications. Develop test methods and apply appropriate international and local methodologies. Maintain equipment checks and calibration so the lab is running accurately and reliably. Provide analysis of results to clients for the relevant focus area. Support a strong safety, quality, and environmental culture by following processes, reporting incidents, and looking for safer, better ways of working. An understanding of quality assurance and material properties. Knowledge of surface friction testing techniques. Operate Safe Bronze Card, or the ability to obtain one. IANZ accreditation achieved, or working towards it. A practical, proactive approach and the ability to think ahead. A team-focused attitude, strong listening skills, and a willingness to learn.
