Description

Perform or Review Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial, Particulate, Water). Perform or Review product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin). Perform or Review product validations. Collect, compile and analyse data and prepare laboratory reports. Assist in any investigations into out of specification results. Involvement in ordering materials for laboratory. Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area. Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements. Ensure compliance to BSC Cork, Corporate and Regulatory requirements. Exposure to Bioburden and Endotoxin monitoring. Good team player, organised, accurate, excellent documentation skills Excellent communication and inter-personal skills NFQ 6 higher certificate in Science, Microbiology or related discipline. Ideally 6 -12 months' work experience within a GMP environment. Ability to work on own initiative. Strong Team Player and excellent collaborator. Experience in investigation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

The Laboratory Technician II will perform or review environmental monitoring and product testing, as well as assist in investigations into out of specification results. They will also maintain laboratory standards and support process and quality improvements.
