Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay: $40.00/hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET
Location: Framingham, MA (on-site)
Contract Length: 12 months (with possible extension)
Sanofi’s contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Join a dedicated team supporting cell culture process development within Upstream BioProcess Development, Biopharmaceutics Development (R&D). The ideal candidate will be familiar with sterile techniques, cell culture lab equipment, and good laboratory/documentation practices. On-the-job training will be provided.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • General knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and terminology
  • Ability to perform algebraic calculations (e.g., serial dilutions, concentration prep)
  • Basic understanding of dimensional analysis is a plus
  • Effective multitasking and communication skills
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and operate lab equipment
  • Physical ability to lift 30–35 pounds occasionally

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with bioreactors
  • Proficiency in using lab equipment and pipettes
  • Solid sterile technique

  • Maintain lab operations: stocking, organizing, and inventory of consumables/supplies
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., BGA, OSMO, CEDEX, FLEX2, Vicell)Assist with preparation of small batch media/buffer solutions (

  • General lab cleaning and housekeeping
  • Collaborate with team members and seek clarification when needed
  • Assist in drafting/reviewing procedural documentation (e.g., SOPs)
  • Operate complex systems/equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines
