Exciting opportunity to join an Australian-based technology company on a global mission to revolutionise the field of chromatography and proteomics.
Who we are
IonOpticks is an innovative company currently revolutionising chromatography and medical research following the successful commercialisation of its novel chromatography columns. Established in 2017, right here in Melbourne, our technology has rapidly enabled us to be the global leader in the manufacture of columns for LC-MS applications. Our growing list of products have now been adopted by leading mass spectrometry laboratories in the pharmaceutical, academic and industry sectors worldwide.
The role
We are on the look out for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to provide crucial technical support for our Research & Development team - preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting in the production and improvement of technical documentation, collecting and interpreting data, and ensuring the accuracy of results.
In this permanent full-time role, you’ll contribute to the quality control of our current product line up, success of research projects, and the development of new products (while adhering to safety, testing, and quality protocols aligned with the IonOpticks Quality Management System).
Based in our facility in Collingwood, this position is a great opportunity for a go-getter who loves being hands-on with lab instruments, figuring things out and getting things done. If you are obsessed with detail, always looking for the next thing to improve, and would genuinely want to be part of a fast-paced team pushing the boundaries of what's possible in chromatography, we want to hear from you.
