This role will be based in our pathology laboratory and dispensary in Alexandria, Sydney.

Core responsibilities include:

• Performing sample testing, instrument operation, specimen reception, data entry.
• Reporting and reviewing results.
• General laboratory cleaning, calibration, and maintenance.
• Supporting and shipping from the dispensary, including building test kits.
• Participating in research projects and developing new testing protocols.
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in a laboratory setting (functional pathology experience highly regarded).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Google Docs.
• A team-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Flexibility to support both lab and dispensary operations as required.

Highly regarded experience:

• Roche equipment and ELISA (manual or semi-automatic).

Minimum qualification: Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent, with subjects relevant to medical science, pathology or medical laboratory operations.
