About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Carry out chemical and microbiological testing to ensure wine quality and compliance.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing calibrations and routine checks.
Collect and prepare production samples, documenting accurate test results.
Support in-process quality control checks during bottling and production.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised laboratory environment.
Assist the Laboratory Manager with investigations and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications and Skills

At least one year of previous experience in a winery or quality assurance laboratory.
Certificate in Laboratory Skills and/or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Science (desirable).
Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
Ability to identify issues that may hinder task completion and find appropriate solutions.
Attention to detail and care in performing tasks.
Strong teamwork abilities and capacity to work well with others.
Confident work ethic aimed at achieving team goals.
