We are currently seeking to recruit a Laboratory Technician to join our Microbiology team at the Eurofins Biomnis laboratory in Sandyford, Dublin18.

Working Hours: 39 hours p/w
OPTION2: TUESDAY- SATURDAY CONTINUOUSLY (IF PREFERABLE OVER OPTION 1)
Job Description
The main responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician in Microbiology are sample and QC set up, running instrumentation for organism identification and sensitivity testing. Also responsible for laboratory house-keeping, stock and assisting Medical Scientists performing a variety of tasks. Perform routine laboratory “put-up” to a high quality and as required in accordance with departmental SOP’s. “Put-up” specimens in a timely manner. Assist with the validations of new or amended methods/ kits/ equipment when required.
