About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting routine laboratory testing and analysis
• Sampling and testing materials and finished products
• Recording and maintaining accurate test results
• Monitoring quality standards and identifying non-conformances
• Completing laboratory documentation and data entry
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and a clean, organised work area
• Working closely with production and quality teams
• Following established quality, safety and hygiene procedures

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Previous laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with quality testing, sampling and laboratory procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence completing documentation and recording results
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work rotating day and afternoon shifts
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

A qualification in Laboratory Techniques, Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
