The Role Full-Time, Fixed Term 4 Months Technical Responsibilities: Ensure sample setup aligns with study protocols, SOPs, and GCP standards. Conduct separation of biological samples according to protocols, SOPs, and GCP. Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and maintenance, ensuring efficient sample processing and storage as per protocols and SOPs. Coordinate sample shipments, including preparation of shipping documents and packing lists, adhering to study requirements. Independently perform specialized tests such as PBMCs, cell-stimulation, and sample biopsies, maintaining accurate documentation. Operational Duties: Develop and maintain local laboratory documents. Oversee monthly laboratory cleaning procedures in line with policies and procedures. Manage barcoding and digital sample tracking. Support study supply storage, monitor stock levels, and facilitate ordering of additional supplies. Assist in sample recording and delivery to off-site local laboratories, following local requirements. Coordinate courier collections according to shipment schedules and IATA guidelines. Skills and Experience Strong attention to detail and adherence to defined processes. Self-motivated and highly organized with multitasking capabilities and the ability to work independently. Capable of performing under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required by the laboratory schedule. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
