We are looking for enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our team. Job Description: Are you a meticulous and analytical professional with a passion for laboratory work? Contribute to our success by performing detailed analysis on oil, fuel, and coolant samples using a variety of manual and automated techniques. Key Responsibilities: Sample Analysis: Perform analyses on batches of oil, fuel, and coolant samples using techniques such as ICP-OES, Head Space GC FID/TCD, GC-FID, FTIR, XRF, Karl Fischer, autotitrators, discrete analyser, automated liquid handling equipment, viscosity and wet chemistry. Sample Preparation: Sort and prepare samples into batches, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Process Improvement: Investigate and implement new laboratory process improvements as directed by the Analytical Services Supervisor. Data Management: Accurately enter sample data and results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Document Management: Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards as assigned by the Supervisor. Strong analytical skills with experience in various laboratory techniques and equipment. Good understanding of COSHH, Laboratory H&S practices and GLP. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to SOPs. Strong people skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
