OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

You’ll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. As a Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of product by testing raw materials, finished products and equipment. This is a temporary role for a period of 12 – 18 months.

YOU ARE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related subject. (Related Degree an asset)
• Experience in a Microbiological Laboratory is an asset
• Training in the application of microbiology sanitation is an asset.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and ability to work shift work.
• Proficiency and dependability in current position.
• Interest in Quality Control and dairy systems
