Job Description We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Perth Airport laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, on-site analytical testing while supporting the safe and efficient operation of our laboratory services. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy and technical exposure. What you will be doing: Perform sampling and analytical testing under the guidance of the Laboratory Supervisor Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments with precision Maintain accurate records, including calibration, results, and reports within LIMS Generate trend data and reports using LIMS and MS Office tools Support the development and improvement of analytical methods Assist with laboratory stock control and general lab operations Contribute to safety initiatives, including hazard identification and risk assessments Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and minimal rework in all testing activities Qualifications About You Relevant technical or tertiary qualifications in a scientific field Experience working with petrochemical, gas, or chemical products Strong computer skills and familiarity with laboratory systems Knowledge of quality systems and laboratory standards High attention to detail with a proactive and reliable approach Desirable experience with instruments: Karl Fischer, Flash Point, FTIR, Viscometer, Gas Chromatography, ICP, Auto titrators Apply Now If you’re looking to build your career in a hands-on laboratory role and want to be part of a supportive, high-performing team, we’d love to hear from you.
