Job Description
Join the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company. SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support analytical testing at our Belfast laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior lab experience in a high-standards testing environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with LIMS systems (desirable) and standard laboratory procedures.
  • Minimum GCSEs (A–C) in Science, Maths, and English (or equivalent).
  • A full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis on samples using established test procedures, ensuring results meet client and internal quality standards.
  • Record and manage results in LIMS (e.g., CCLAS).
  • Conduct SQC and Round Robin tests, investigating and acting on any non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with inspection teams to meet turnaround times and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement and training initiatives within the lab.
