Laboratory Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Technician to join our Environmental Science division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.


We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Technician to join our Environmental Science team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work in a high-pressure laboratory environment while maintaining data quality and safety standards. A strong chemistry background is essential to thrive in this position.


The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):


  • Generating accurate and compliant analytical data
  • Maintaining equipment, methods and quality systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement of laboratory processes

Qualifications


To be a successful Technician , you should be able to demonstrate:


  • Degree-level qualification in Chemistry or related subject
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet KPIs
  • Good IT and problem-solving skills
