POSITION SUMMARY

This is a position within a laboratory that focuses primarily on international standards testing packaging and products using mechanical/non-wet lab means and procedures. We operate in a non-clean room environment but adhere to strict laboratory rules and regulations.
The purpose of the role is to prepare all lab jobs to proceed to test, perform testing to complete them to a set schedule and process jobs to current processes and procedures from receiving to reporting.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • College diploma or a minimum of 6 months
  • 2 years relevant experience in a laboratory/GMP environment.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent social interaction with Customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Processing incoming jobs and/or products to a schedule.
  • Promptly reporting non-conforming jobs and/or products.
  • Ensuring all documentation is complete to test a job.
  • Performing tests within the department(s).
  • Monitoring test output, including chambers.
  • Compiling, reviewing, updating, and improving reports.
  • Adherence to all aspects of GDP.
  • Assist with laboratory investigations.
  • Co-ordination of daily work activities within the lab environment.
  • Tracking/reporting of deliverables
  • Assist with Continuous Improvement projects as required.
  • Required to report any testing discrepancies to Customer Services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal Quality procedures and SOPs.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy.
  • To report any unsafe conditions immediately and ensure compliance to H&S processes.
  • Any additional duties upon the request of your Lead or Manager.
